Feb 27, 2007 Philadelphia Flyers Todd Fedoruk
2pd 06:24 New York Islanders Chris Simon
They drop the gloves and square off at center ice. They grab ahold of each other and grapple for a short moment until Fedoruk throws two lefts to the side of Simon's helmet. Simon comes back with an uppercut and a short left. They then go toe-to-toe with a couple of rights each. Simon lands two more lefts after that and continues to throw while Fedoruk switches hands and answers with two rights that miss during the flurry. They get in-tight and wrestle around for a bit until Fedoruk gets loose and throws a left. Simon responds with a couple of lefts that Fedoruk is able to move away from. Fedoruk then throws three overhand rights to the back of Simon's helmet followed by two more rights that connect. Simon throws three lefts towards a ducking Fedoruk and Fedoruk comes back with a left cross. They exchange a couple of more lefts until Simon gets Fedoruk bent over and throws two uppercuts followed by a left that connects. They then spin around and Fedoruk pulls Simon closer to him before wrestling him to the ice. The linesmen quickly come in and break things up shortly after. Fedoruk skates back to the dressing room with a cut around his right eye.

Simon busts up damaged goods in Fedoruk.... It's a real shame that Fedoruk looked so bad that season.

Wow, I really find myself pulling for Fedoruk these days after his Boogaard beating. Good to see that he remembers what got him into the NHL and whats going to keep him there. Of course as a Flames fan when it come to him and Godard I gotta go with my team.

GO FLAMES GO

This was a great fight which Simon won hands down. I respect Fedoruk a lot more now for NOT hitting Simon while he was down. Not a lot of guys would have done that.

Simon dominated, busting open Fedoruk. You can tell that Simon was tired from scoring the goal on his previous shift otherwise, I see him fighting even better.

Simon destroyed the Fridge. He looked more like a mini fridge last night. Simon can still throw with the best of them. Bring on Laraque!!!!!

Good scrap for Fridge. His last few fights where he got hit in the face seemed to make him grab and hold on, kinda testing the new orbital surgery...Its good to see Fridge take a few on the face and fire back this time. Have to give the nod to Simon for connecting more often....

I think Simon won, but he needs to be much stronger on his skates now that Laraque is in the same division and looking at becoming the bully.

Great fight, but once again Fedoruk gets beaten up. It was a shame to see Simon fall to the ice near the end of the fight. It's possible there was a KO coming! Simon has destroyed the last few guys he has fought! At first I thought it was another Mark Fraser like beating coming to Fedoruk, but the Fridge made it closer than expected by the end of the fight. He still isnt doing a good job of protecting his face when he fights. I thought he wouldve learned from getting it crumpled in by Boogard awhile back! Either way, this will be contested as the best fight of the year, at the end of the NHL season.

Back and forth but I think Simon landed a few more quality shots.
