Comments: The two goalies decide to go at it among the rest of the chaos, each shedding their gloves, blockers, and masks and meeting at center ice. They grab ahold of each other and Emery throws five straight rights while Biron is trying to move away from the punches and eventually falls to the ice. Emery pins Biron on the ice and then eventually lets him up only to get tripped to the ice himself by Biron. Emery gets back to his feet and the two skate away from each other. Peters spots Emery over near the side boards afterwards and skates towards him with a mean look on his face. Peters grabs Emery and throws a right to start things off. One of the linesmen tries to grab Peters, but quickly decides to let them continue. Peters throws another right and Emery attempts a short right of his own. Peters connects with three straight rights to the side of Emery's head and Emery again just throws a weak right that comes up short. They exchange rights and Peters pushes Emery towards the side boards while Emery is smiling and laughing. Peters connects with another right, but the linesmen and one of the referees are right there to break things up. Other Penalties: Peters received an instigator, roughing and game misconduct.

How long has it been since Neil has actually fought a tough guy? Give me a break! Murray is spineless and gutless and has been most of his coaching career! Peters has owned McGratton and will again. As for Emrey..... his scraps are always against smaller guys, I promise you that if Steve Shields was still in Buffalo Emery would be out for a while with missing teeth!

Peters is the biggest piece of garbage in the league. F#cking ogie ogelthorpe crap. Skaters going after goalies is freaking ridiculous. Won't be a rematch because Peters will be suspended. Put them in a ring Emery would kick his ass. Sabres fans suck.

bad call on ruff. He should not have dont that, bad call, uncalled for peters to do what he did. Yeah sure its exciting but holy ****... no need for a god damn goalie fight how the hell did that start

bottom line was, the hit was cheap and everything thereafter was fair and the right thing to do...

until the peters-emery fight. it wasn't his place to step in. no player ever has a right to go after the other team's goalie, even if their own goalie is at ends with him, unless the opposing goalie is going completely crazy and brutally attacking some innocent player. it wasnt peter's place to get involved there, though the rest of it was all good.

but sen's fans, stop saying the hit was clean - it wasn't.

Peters is a cheap f$&@ for stepping in there on Emery. Biron and Emery were going towards each other to go another round
If Emery had the same equipment on as Peters it would be a very close fight. Emery fought quite a bit in the minors and has done some boxing in the past.

Chris Neil has been playing on the first line for the last 4 games. He plays a regular shift every night. HE LEADS THE NHL IN HITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For him to go out there and hit a star player or ANY player for that matter HAPPENS EVERY BLOODY GAME. Watch the replay, it's a completely clean hit, just because Drury didn't see him coming doesn't mean it was a cheap hit.

It is a joke that Peters went after Emery. Peters hs NO SKILLS and now has to beat up on a goalie. I hope McGratton Kicks the hell out of him on Saturday night.

Peters, gutless turd, comes in and fights Emery after Emery already fought. Love Emery smiling through the whole thing.
