Ray Emery vs Martin Biron

The goalies find each other and shed all the equipment. Emery is smiling as the two grab a hold of each other. Emery proceeds to land 4 punches, then he throws a body shot in there aswell. Then as they fall, Emery lands one on the way down. They grapple on the ice for a bit then eventually break up themselves.

I am the biggest Sabres fan. but EMERY is the man he was laughin having a blast and coulda walloped biron but he did'nt. Peters coulda smoked him though...

Peters just jumped in to protect his goalie, funniest thing was the whole time Peters is just wholloping emery the guy is laughing...hes better at fighting goalies than playin goalie thats for sure. And as for Ottowa bringing up McGratton, anyone ever see the fight where Peters hit him so hard he bent over like a little girl and his eye swelled shut...yeah bring on McGratton lets see what other injury we can inflict on him...i hope Peters doesn't get suspended for "third man in" because saturday will be alot more interesting with him still in the lineup...and the new guy Kaleta is probably going to whoop someones ass too.

If Emery had the same equipment on as Peters it would be a very close fight. Emery fought quite a bit in the minors and has done some boxing in the past.

The 2 goalies going at it was as fair as a fight gets but Peters is a joke

Biron went looking for Emery and found him in a big way (on top of him beating him up). Maybe someone should have told Marty that Emery has a boxing background.

This is why Emery is a #1 goaltender for the Sens. Nice save percentage and does not mind dropping the gloves.

Ruff needs to get a clue ... I haven't seen the hit but he should have been satisfied when the goons were sent out. I was waiting to see Murray and Ruff go at it and Razor jump out onto the ice and go old school.

Emery in a clear win nice to see him let up on Biron when he had him down on the ice. big props to Biron for standing up given the fact Emery is bigger and has a repuation as a tough guy. all in all how can you go wrong when the goalies are fighting.....this was old school hockey and i loved it....just look at the emotion of the feedback on this game.....lots of name calling and trash talking...love the fact that the new NHL became the old NHL for a night!!

Emery kicked his arse, and if Peters hadn't have jumped in (suspension?), it would have been a knockout.

Neil's hit was only a half second late, if even that much. Drury got caught admiring a pass instead of protecting himself in the middle of the ice and got caught. Something they teach you not to do in the first year of check hockey. Neil should not be suspended for putting a clean hit on Drury who did the damage to his head, when he smacked it off the ice.

Peters should be suspended for jumping Emery after the two goalies were staring each other down again.

Gets a 5 only because it's a Goalie Fight! Peters should let the goalies go and stay out of it, he might get a suspension for that the way the NHL treats goalies.
