Fedoruk got what was coming to him delivered by Colton Orr. Broke that bastards face again. He deserved it. Good job, Colton. Good fight, Avery.

Avery took him with some strong shots and rwally dropped him to the ice with a shot to the back of the head, no contest, Avery the winner

Avery was supposed to go after Fedoruk not Richards, who has had maybe three fights this year. Richards had a good showing and got the W.

Who cares about the fight? Seeing Fedoruk have his way with those ******* was priceless. And if Avery or the pathetic Hollweg is all they have as enforcers, then it's going to stay that way because neither of them are capable of doing anything about it. Flyers hockey at its finest.

Ok fight, very close. It was probably a draw because Avery landed more punches but Richards probably landed better punches. I liked seeing Fedoruk go flying around the ice better though. Especially when he nailed jagr when he didn't have the puck.....priceless

Avery and Richards were very evenly matched, but I have to give the edge to Avery, considering he knocked Richards down, and by my calculations, threw and landed more punches. Richards got a nice one in though.

Once again, I give the win to Richards. Avery is a punk, gets under everyones skin, thats why the Rangers picked him up because people want to beat the crap out of him ( including me), which causes a penatly. Richards nor Avery are very big guys so it was a good fight. Many punches were thrown and landed, but the best and solid hits were from Richards onto Avery's face.
Richards is not a crap fighter and hes not a crap player, hes young, he has skill and I can't wait till he's captain.
Radio, your just saying that because you a Ranger fan! So how come Flyer fans can't stick up for their players but you can...don't think so.

Avery knocks Richards down a couple times but Richards gets in some quality hits. Neither is a particularly quality fighter if this match is any indication but often non regulators fighting make for better entertainment because anything can happen. I would say that it was a draw. It all stared with Todd "Glassjaw" Fedoruk checking Rangers into the boards for penalties trying to stir up trouble.

avery is a punk,of all the players on the ice at the time he takes on richards. He should have dominated him, maybe next time he should take on one of there tough guys

I dont like Avery much, but for being new to the Rangers, and for shutting Fedoruk up by kicking his team-mates ass, i think that was good for the team. Personally he should have fought Fedoruk, or Shanahan should have, but hey, no need to start unnecessary crap when its not needed. Shut Fedoruk up and move on.
AVery took control during that fight to, especially when he decked Richards to the ice midway durin the fight.
