3rd Period - 8:17•2001-2002 Regular Season

After Richardson ran at Lindsay from behind, they both freaked and dropped them. Kevyn Adams also took exception and tried to go after Richardson. Mark Recchi jumped in and started on Adams. Richardson and Lindsay danced all over the ice, both with their arms tied up. Finally, Richardson got an arm somewhat free and started swinging at Lindsay. Richardson threw about 10 punches, some missing, but a few catching the back of bills head and the last 2 hitting his face. Richardson dropped Lindsay to end it. Other Penalties: Richardson received a cross checking, instigator and misconduct.
