I was at the game and this was a throwback fight! They discarded their gear and faced off near center ice, the way it's supposed to be done! This was a good, old fashioned toe-to-toe slugfest. It was a very close fight, but Smith got a couple of good rights in on Monych just prior to the linesman jumping in and ending what was a very entertaining fight!!
