Corey Perry and Steve Ott start a scrum just as the horn sounds to end the first period. Away from the pile, Barch and Pronger are tied up and Barch continually tries to get Pronger to drop the gloves while a linesmen tries to separate them. Finally Pronger decides to accept the challenge and drops his gloves, quickly throwing three rights while Barch ducks away from the shots. Pronger then wrestles Barch to the ice and the linesman jumps on top of the two, getting them sent on their separate ways rather easily. Other Penalties: Barch received a game misconduct; Steve Ott a double roughing; Corey Perry a roughing.

Barch tried to throw the first punch from behind the ref, bad idea. Pronger lost his patience and used his reach to punch Barch and thats all it took. A mismatch but Barch was asking for it.

Pronger landed only shots, not many but enough good to getting NARROW WIN over Barch.

Pronger is too good a player to fight, but Barch baited him & threw the first punch. Pronger looked impressive in this short fight against a scrappy Barch.

it was a clear dominatin by Pronger and he would take barch any day of the week. Pronger is just too big of a SOB to be taken by someone that small...he had guts taking Prongers jersey and risking a fight with hiim to begin with.

I didn't really like the way Pronger punched Barch from behind the ref. Seemed a little cheap to me, but that's just my opinion.

PRONGER IS A PUSS, WHO PUNCHES SOMEONE FROM BEHIND THE REF??? I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL LARAQUE STOMPS HIS ASS!!!
