The two line up next to each other on the faceoff and right after the puck drops they quickly shed the sticks and gloves. They grab ahold of one another and Boogaard starts things off with a right cross. They go back and forth with rights and Boogaard switches things up, connecting with a body shot. They exchange some more rights until Godard switches hands and connects with two lefts that knock Boogaard's helmet off. They go back and forth once more with a mix of jabs and hard rights. Boogaard then gets Godard's jersey over his head and connects with a right. They lose their balance and fall to the ice. Boogaard gets in two rights while they are down and the linesmen are quick to get in there and prevent anything else from happening.

Godard got the early edge, Boogaard came back with two solid rights to the head of Godard and getting the takedown.

Look I know Godard is part of my team now, the Pens. When I watch this fight, Godard landed a couple of good shots at the beginning, Boogaard came back landing the best punch of the fight. That said, the punch count looked to be the same. I am not a fan of either team.

Boogaard wins in a tight close battle.

i you had a look at boogaards face you would know who won the fight the hardest jersy jab i have ever seen boogy was lucky to be awake after that shot any one can pull a jersy up over some ones head that along with the late lame punches shows desparation on boogers part

Only a flames fan would vote for Godard. If anything it was a tie, but Boogaard definitely had the upper hand in my book. We don't need team alliances judging fights. Pick the winner and that has to be boogaard, If you don't want to vote against your player at least when he gets beat, give it a draw or don't vote.
