Comments: The two line up next to each other on the faceoff and right after the puck drops they quickly shed the sticks and gloves. They grab ahold of one another and Boogaard starts things off with a right cross. They go back and forth with rights and Boogaard switches things up, connecting with a body shot. They exchange some more rights until Godard switches hands and connects with two lefts that knock Boogaard's helmet off. They go back and forth once more with a mix of jabs and hard rights. Boogaard then gets Godard's jersey over his head and connects with a right. They lose their balance and fall to the ice. Boogaard gets in two rights while they are down and the linesmen are quick to get in there and prevent anything else from happening.

that was a close fight at the start but Boogaard laid in some heavy punches which were enough to win the fight. These two must have something going on between them because boogard continued to punch Eric when he was down.

Godard with a nice jersey jab, but it takes alotta guts to go against Boogy, i feel oblidged to give Godard the descsion being a diehard wild fan, but it was a nice scrap

Boogaard won, I think, but the cheap shots at the end were uncalled for.

This fight was a draw - no way does Boogaard get the win just for pulling a jersey over the head at the end and hitting a guy while he's down. The fight was even throughout with both landing a few solid shots. The jersey jabs snapped Boogaard's head back so don't tell me they don't count. Better showing for Boogaard then the last time these two went at it when Godard jelly legged Boogaard - twice!

Godard won this one based on the quality of punches. Boogard was losing the fight, got desperate and pulled the jersey over his head, you dont win a fight that way in my books.

Good fight, but scumbag move when Godard was down with a jersey over his head. Godard is smaller, and hung with him, big boo bleed, and wasnt a scumbag, so ill give him the win, a slight win.

Anyone voting for Godard in that fight is a tard. 2 sweater jabs are not KO punches boys and girls.

Boo nailed him right in the face with a couple of wicked shots and easily takes the win.
