Josh Gratton vs. Matthew Barnaby

This one starts as the play is filtering into the Dallas zone. Behind the play Barnaby and Gratton exchange some words and shortly later they drop the gloves and square off in front of the Phoenix bench. After a lengthy square off they finally come together and Gratton quickly fires off a right. Gratton follows that up with three more rights but only two end up landing to the side of Barnaby’s helmet. Barnaby is then able to get in a right of his own. Barnaby then grabs on as Gratton works to get his right free. Gratton is able to fire off a right that just catches the back of Barnaby’s helmet. They begin to wrestle is close as Gratton shoves his left hand is Barnaby’s face. Barnaby responds with a short right while in the clinch. He tries to follow that up with another right but he misses as Gratton ducks breaking free of the clinch in the process. Gratton gets his right free as he fires a right uppercut followed by a right to the back of the head. Gratton is able to get in four straight shots to the back of the head before Barnaby finally responds with a right. Barnaby’s helmet then comes free and Gratton attempts to get in a right but he misses as Barnaby ducks under it. Barnaby then throws a right that lands solidly to the face of Gratton. They continue to exchange as Gratton lands a shot to the head followed by two shots to the back of the head. They fighters then get in close again as they begin to grapple. They continue to wrestle as Gratton throws a few rights while in close. Gratton continues to throw as he gets in a few more to the back of Barnaby’s head. Gratton then throws a right uppercut followed by a right to the back of the head. He follows that up with another right to the back of the head and then Barnaby begins to tell the refs not to break them up. They continue to wrestle around as Gratton’s helmet comes free. Gratton then throws a right. He tries to follow that up with another right but its fails as Barnaby has a tight grip on his jersey. Barnaby is then able to work his right elbow pad free and moments later he fires off a right hand. Barnaby tries another right but it comes up short. Barnaby is then able to get in a good short left. Barnaby then throws a right an the linesmen decide to step in between them.

They drop the gloves near center ice and come together in front of the Coyotes bench.

Barnaby is unable to get much going in this one, doing mostly hugging. He tried to land a few, but didn't look like anything made contact with more than helmet.

Gratton won this one and ended Barnaby's career.

Gratton win, like usual barnaby can't win a fight.
