| A late hit after the whistle causes a giant scrum in the corner. Neil and Steve Begin drop the gloves and come out of the crowd throwing punches at each other. Downey skates over and grabs Neil. A linesmen comes over and grabs Begin off of Neil, then skates over to Downey and tries to separate him from Neil. Neil throws a left and one of the referees skate over to try and pry them apart as well. Neil screams at him and after a moment they decide to let the two go. They skate further down ice and begin a battle that sees both fighters landing numerous shots, both lefts, rights, and uppercuts. They separate at one point only to continue throwing punches boxing-style before the referees finally step in and end the fight. Other Penalties: Downey received a charging and misconduct; Andrej Meszaros a roughing and misconduct. | ||
