They drop the gloves at center ice. Kordic immediately starts throwing lefts and lands several. McKay hangs in there taking several shots and throwing some rights as well. Kordic is too tough in this slugfest and does well enough to get the victory over the young Detroit forward. Great toe to toe battle.
