This, more than any other fight put jersey on the map. It paved the way for a very successful run of hockey that led up to Brodeur and Stanley cups. The flyers always had an upperhand til this. The rivalry still hasn't died. Crowder when at it with flyers countless times after this. And every Devil and Flyer fan old enough won't forget it. It should burn in their hearts everytime they play each other.

What a shot! As Pat Travers once said " I'm not kiddin', I'm ready to fight" and down he goes. I think Jeff was looking for his "Chicklets" after that knuckle sandwich. Good sportsmanship by Troy not to pummel him anymore while he's watching tweety birds dancing around his melon. Ah, the good ol' days.
