Comments: Mayers nails Sergei Fedorov with a hard open-ice hit at center ice. Westcott immediately skates over and challenges Mayers and they drop the gloves and tie up. Westcott throws two short lefts and Mayers misses over the top with a right. Westcott throws another short right, allowing Mayers to throw a flurry of three rights that send Westcott to the ice and the linesmen rushing in. Westcott received an extra minor penalty for instigating with a visor on and a game misconduct for having his jersey not tied down. Other Penalties: Westcott received an instigator, unsportsmanlike conduct, misconduct and game misconduct.
