Kudos to Kiiara for going up against a formidable opponent, and also for acquitting himself well in the bout. Alas for him, Haley's experienced toughness cannot be denied.

nait saidbit best...fan boys calling this a beat down? Neither really landed anything. More of a draw than anything. Kudos to Khaira for stepping up immediately.

kranium62 calling Haley best pound for pound in history is a joke. Bet you never saw Pierre Pilote play. How about Rick Rypian? Both would eat this guy alive.

Clean hit, but good for Khaira to step up and try to send the appropriate message. Haley and a 5.

Haley.....again. 3 quick lefts. He can switch hands easily .

Posted by jawhockey on March 18, 2018 at 09:28 AM

Haley can throw the punches. I give Haley the win in this fight.

Hard hit by Haley, Instantly looks for a response. Throws down with the much bigger dude. Still gets the win.

Jujhar got his ass whipped.

Gotta love Haley

Some real shots landed in this one.

Beauty bout here from two heavy hitters. Good to see Khaira stepping in to defend his man, good to see Haley accepting the call. The two exchange some heavy blows, but the much shorter Haley lands a few more to secure the win. My favourite part was seeing Khaira lift his visor at the end so that it would do as little damage as possible to Haley if the fight had continued. Good stuff.

Khaira made a good showing against scary Haley. I see a lot of comments claiming Haley landed a few good shots, but watch in slow mo and you'll see that none of the three punches connected. In normal speed it sure looked like he caught Khaira good, but nope.

Looked like a draw to me

little SOB is tough

Posted by slapshot53 on March 17, 2018 at 03:23 PM

As usual, haleys opponent is 5 inches taller & 20 pounds heavier, a dance , with two little jabs by Haley

Posted by hughcares on March 18, 2018 at 02:53 PM

Haley with a nice hit, if Kassian knew how to skate he wouldn't have gotten injured.Whats Lucy doing for Edmonton - guy doesn't score, doesn't fight - biggest waste of 6.5 million a year

Posted by GreatMurray on March 18, 2018 at 06:30 AM

Haley is a little beast. He spots this guy height, weight and probably strength. No matter...Haley belts the Oiler in the mush about 3 times for an easy win.

Posted by bigmike53 on March 17, 2018 at 04:18 PM

Haley does enough to earn the Narrow win. Good to see no hesitation by Khaira in stepping up for his teammate.

Kassian deserves the hit as payback for his career as a talentless goon. Haley is always entertaining and IMHO earns a slight edge in the tilt. Props to Khara for dropping the gloves against a seasoned pro but he seems like he was outclassed. Neither looked too engaged. Kranium62, Tie Domi was Haley's size. Just a reminder to the youngsters what a real hockey fight used to look like... "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jk3bx4VkIbU"

one guy is 6'4'' the other is 5'11'', how does that little guy win this...because it's Micheal Haley, the best lb for lb fighter in history maybe (the late Rick Rypien is up there as well). Two lefts on the button and then a right, Khaira did well to stay on his feet - but clear win Haley. Easily fighter of the year.

Never been an Oilers fan, but I like this Khaira. Win or lose, he is willing to step up against anyone and protect his teammates. More heart than Lucic, Kassian and Nurse put together. McDavid completely gets clobbered at times, and these other 3 do nothing. Khaira has some hands as well.

Why do guys play hero just to get beat up. If you are not going to at least throw mad, win loose or draw, sit the fuck down. Haley with another easy win

Posted by Spinner55 on March 18, 2018 at 11:02 AM

The hit was not as bad as originally thought, blindside not a hit from behind. Kudu's to Juhar as he continues to show his mettle, standing up for teammates while Lucic focuses on his scoring touch rather than standing up for teammates. Haley is a throwback to the era of intimidation. Couple of years down the road, who do you think will still be playing in the NHL? Answer: Jujhar Khaira

Hairy khaira got his beard knocked sideways

Posted by nickyfotiu on March 21, 2018 at 09:03 PM

Who voted for Khaira? The Oilers' P.R. staff? He landed nothing. Haley connected with three strong lefts in a row and the haymaker right at the end. Khaira was begging for the officials to jump in. He lost. Decisively.

Posted by tpr1960 on March 17, 2018 at 05:37 PM

Should have been a major, crap hit from a talentless pr*ck. Panthers lose.

Posted by rocky 1 on March 17, 2018 at 06:11 PM

Back and forth for the draw!Very dirty hit from Haley and will likely get 5 games for stupidity! This was a very close fight and the voting here sucks!

Posted by cpost6 on March 17, 2018 at 03:31 PM

Haley fights a lot but always draws. Just ties players up. Like to see Lucic get him before game is over!

Posted by nait on March 17, 2018 at 05:20 PM

70% of you are idiots and fan boys. Haley did NOT win that fight. 2 landed punches away
