Deslauriers was chucking like mad right out of the gate. Glass came on stronger near the end but his punches were not that effective...too little, too late.
Deslauriers is no joke, this guy impresses me more each time he scraps.
Glass came on at the end of this fight, but Delausiries gets the nod from me due to his ambidextrous attack
ok so Nicky D gets a good lead w/the under-over cylinders, but Darren Langdon, er, Tanner Glass totally acquits himself with that late flurry even if most of it bounced off of ND's shield... even tho I'm late to the dance w/my 'opinion', I think this one is at least a 7.5 due to the throwback Churla/Kocur-esque in tight anger that we almost never see anymore since the intro of the jersey-jab, ala late 90's.. with ALL due respect, this one is a D-raw...no quarter here, or there.
You have got to love Tanner Glass just an old warrior If you want to beat him you gotta knock him out or kill him. 2 tough guys
Yes Deslaurier did get off to a fast start and landed multiple shots but I feel Glass weathered the storm out and landed some heavier punches. Very close fight and I only chose Glass because he drilled him with a couple dandies and still had a bit more in the tank. Almost a draw but winner Glass.
Edge to Glass - this guy never gives up.
Both Glass and Deslauriers were really pumping and the knuckle sandwich count was quite high. Too bad they both got winded so the zebras could put the kabosh on it. Neither guy was fierce or creative, but they were determined.
what a great fight in this season's standard.this deslauriers really is tough kid and am i big fan.it looked like he was going to beat glass landing 1 right after another early in the fight but glass came back and i think he got the edge..im fine with draw too though...and 8
tanner glass jaw loses again
Helmet punches to the back of the head don't count...
Pretty even bout. I don't like the way Glass kept punching when it was obvious Desy stopped and was tapping Glass' jersey to end it. Edge to Desy.
Good scrap. Big Tanner Glass fan but he was slow out of the gate this time and it cost him
Great fight amongst 2 under rated light heavies who will go with anyone. deslauriers early and Glass late with a lot of Glass's bouncing off Deslauriers helmet. 7 rated with very slight edge to Deslauriers.
Deslauriers early, glass late. Solid draw and a 6.
Heck of a scrap. Too bad visor boy didn't do the right thing. Glass gets full marks for pounding the shield and the helmet. Draw and a 7.
Once again, after many days of a fight listing, but no video to watch, we finally get to see this one. Deslauriers had jump on the Glasser, from the get go. Although he came back at the end, Glass hit nothing but helmet. Sorry guys, but Deslauriers, had the better of the landed shots, for the WIN. And hey, Hockey fights.com, get off your lazy asses, and post these fight s the way they are supposed to be posted on a daily basis.
Very impressed with Deslauriers. For a rookie, he doesn't hesitate to take on the tough guys. Good win for the kid. For everyone complaining about the visor, it's not his fault the league makes the rookies throw the visor on and to top it off it's a penalty for taking the lid off. Glass looked good though, gave it a 7 and a win Deslauriers.
Deslauriers takes it. Nice win for the rookie. Continues to impress me.
Deslauriers with a flurry to start this fight. Glass came back. Slight edge to Glass, but could also give it a draw.
Punches to the back of the head are bullshit. Glass got owned in this one. I bet he thought he was going to teach this kid a lesson before the fight started.
Linseman saved Nics ass!
Plenty of anti-New York bias on display here - Deslauriers landed a couple small ones in that early flurry, but Glass was clearly in control from then on. He landed the two biggest punches of the fight with those hard rights, second of which staggered Deslauriers. Come on guys. Get some objectivity.
The visor rule has got to go. Too many guys hiding behind the shield. Glass would have won this handily if it weren't for the visor. I've always liked Glass. Not the biggest guy, but always game. The Canucks should have kept him.
Two of the better middleweights in the NHL have a good one here Deslauriers has done nothing but impress this year While Glass has really improved these past two years Probably due to the lack of legit middles in the league nowadays But Deslauriers seems legit He gets the win here in a pretty good little tilt
Decided on a slight edge to Glass This fight actually pretty good. If it wasnt for Deslauriers diminishingly awkward grip, this could have been even better. Love the sluggish mentality at the beginning. Gave it a 7
Deslauriers gets off to a fast start landing some good shots. Glass comes back as expected to make it close. I gave Deslauriers the close win for landing better. I wouldn't argue a Draw.
Deslauriers was firing more effectively early with Glass firing back a bit less so. Then Glass took over throwing unanswered while Nic just held on. Unfortunately a lot of the punches Glass threw bounced off the helmet and visor of Deslauriers. Without the visor it would have been a win for Glass, not that it's Nic's fault, but solid draw as it stands.
Pretty decent tilt between these two. I am going with Glass on this one, since he had to work past the visor, scored some good shots, was much busier and, in my opinion, controlled the fight.
Normal draw to Glass win from visor. More points deducted from the multiple helmet adjustments. Deslauriers should just bolt he visor to his head.
