Ive been watching and recording fights since the mid 80's. And although i try to check out as many fights as i can i still miss the days of those fights. Back then fighters didnt grab each other by the scruff of the neck and jab those bull crap rabbit punches. They would simply reach back as far as they could and drop bombs. I understand its a technique but just cant get used to it.

Calvert threw more jabs than Winky Wright. Win Shaw.

Kind of strange listening to Derek Dorsett sitting in the press box doing color commentary with his broken collarbone. Calvert tried to take on his role with little success, but he obviously doesn't want to return to Springfield.

Calvert bit off more than he could chew against Shaw in that mix up.

Calvert is a total *****, starts the fight and doesnt get rid of the helmet with a visor until the fights almost over. What a coward. Shaw doesnt scrap often but he can hold his own and then some.
