Respect for Gagne in an expected loss

Two teams with increasingly noticeable toughness issues

The concession for Gagner in the loss was that he scored a goal last night. The Oilers finally showed what they've got by skating circles around the flatfooted Stars.

I was going to give this a draw, but Gagner doesn't deserve a draw for that effort.

Gagner has no chance here, but goes for it anyway.... A couple more seconds and Gagner would have been out... Shots to the back of the head and neck are nasty... One of Cible's multiple personalities makes a great call on this one.

I'm not sure who did more fighting in that... the players or the refs?!

Sam "wise" gangee with the shot for the take down followed by Bre "rabbit punch" Dillon... not sure..... not certain...

Dillon with the win,,, kudos to Sammy for sticking up for himself,,, since the OILERS have no one else to do it.

Good for Gagner the refs jumped as quick as they did. He was about to take a fierce beating..Dillon in this shorty..How does Sam have a single vote by the way? Just by being willing to get his head cracked a few times?

The slow motion shot of Dillon missing the back of Gagner`s head was kind of funny. How often do you get punched in the neck?

Why do the linesman always break it up immiediately when theirs stars or non-fighters involved in a fight.

Unfortunately this is the current state of affairs in Edmonton. On the radio today they said Eager can't fight anymore because of too many concussions (obviously he's never been that good at it). Dillon was running around all game and Gagner had to take things into his own hands. After the years of Dave Semenko, Marty McSorley, Dave Brown, Luke Richardson, Louie Debrusk, Georges Laraque, etc.. things in Edmonton right now are an absolute embarrassment. Even a guy like Jason Strudwick is sorely missed right now. We have some great young, extremely small skilled players over here and they're being run game in and game out. Time to earn your paycheck Mr. Tambellini.

sorry guys...but I gotta say that Dillon is the 21st century version of Darien Hatcher. He's young right now but he's got 10 years minimum in him. Check back with me in a year or two.

bammer24 obviously don't know his arse from his head. Dillon a 'cheap shot artist'. Legal hits from a hard hitting Dman. Get over it tinkerbell. Dillon was a the end of successive penalty kills, or he would destroyed Gagne. Not much of a fight.

the linesman saved Gagner's life ...

I know it's gagner who went after Dillan but this kid picks his spot so bad! I bet if it was eager in gagner place he wouldn't have went even if eager is an ok fighter!!!
