Hats off to McGinn for stepping up. He did take a whoppen but he was there unlike the weasel Rinaldo who picks and chooses his opponents very carefully. No contest McGinn stood up for his team, got a zipper but Brown the "W".
Brown with the win.... but i can see some people thinking that the rookie's fast start made it a draw... blood drawn always counts for extra though!
Btw, imo the Toronto maple Leafs have taken the title of Best Fighting Team from my Bruins... while the B's have more quality fighters ( Thorton, Chara, macDermid, Lucic, McQuaid, Horton, Campbell, Boychuk) without a doubt the "top of the order" for the Leafs is tougher than the best for the Bruins: Orr v. Thorton, edge leafs/ McLaren v. Chara, edge Leafs/ Fraser v. MacDermid , slight edge B's/ Brown v. Lucic, edge B's... just sayin'
Although I WILL say that the "tough" teams don't play tough against the B's, following the wise saying of Jack " Ben Franklin" Edwards:
DON'T POKE THE BEAR!!!!
the kid McGinn learns the hard way that being bigger and havin more reach dont get you in 'the club' w/out workin for it.. Mike Brown doin a lot of Tie Domi in this one and goin right to the face after a quick tumble w/much success..
it's great both guys lost the lids but a shame they had to as the visor generation has become the majority unfortunately..(and props to Behn W for pointin that out 1st..)
Brown scores the heavy right to cap a strong comeback and draw some Type O.... #18 FTW.
This fight was the turning point in the game. Seemed to make the Flyers passive for a long stretch. Props to both players, but Brown really laid one on him there at the end. Nice to see the Leafs back in the mix. I hate them, but have missed them.
