The way the commentators made it sound you would think it was Jackass Edwards calling a fight in favor of a Bruins player who actually got his ass kicked. Definite win for Thornton....

I agree with RoadRiver, entertaining scrap. However, I give a slight edge to Thornton.

Some hard shots bookending sweater grappling. I think Jumbo got the harder hit, but I wouldn't say there was a winner. Draw, but entertaining.

New found respect for my fellow vancouver islander jamie benn :) really steps up here against jumbo joe who ever since he got his face broken only goes after smaller guys he knows he can beat. No clear winner, big shots landed for both guys. Draw but an entertaining one!

That was a pretty good scrap and a pretty epic intro to the fight. Can't shake the slow-mo of Thornton clocking Benn so I'll give the W to Jumbo Joe but still very close. Like how he's throwing down this year he hasn't done that in awhile.

Benn lands a good one immediately but the rest miss, Joe controls and lands a good better one later.

This is how every fight in the NHL should take place. The sticks are dropped before both players take off their gloves, elbow pads AND helmets. Then square up and throw down. Great fight. Thornton win. GO SHARKS.
