Toews clearly not a fighter but Thornton has a history of being chippy with Toews because he "knows" Toews would never doing anything about it. Toews may have lost the front end, but the fight clearly spurred the Hawks on. Killed off 3.5 minutes of power play before drawing a penalty on San Jose, then scored immediately and never looked back. So Toews won the "war" if not the fight.
