Agree with the announcer. Bickell should not have to drop the gloves after a good clean hit. That's part of the game. Players need to keep their heads up. If it had been a cheap shot, ok. If a guy gets "embarrassed" on the ice by a clean check, that's his problem not the guy who hit him.

Staubitz steps up for Getz.
Don't get the announcer. Enforcers have been covering stars forever.
I don't need to see that change.
I know that the Blackhawks would rather defend a fight with one of their checkers rather than have one of their stars run over.

Another stupid incident of a stupid reaction to a clean hit. This is not giving a lift to your team it`s hurting the team when your gone for 17 mins.and leaving them short handed This is happening almost every night now. This is the leagues new response to large growth fighting majors this year. They picked up this trend last year rising.Pick your spots more wisely.

A year ago i was calling Staubitz, Staubitch and he could, not win a fight. Then he went to Montreal and resurrected his career by winning most of his fights. Now with the Ducks he continues to step up to the plate. In this fight he does his job and protects a star player like he should and wins this fight.Good for him and know i will retire the Staubitch name respectfully! Montreal sure could use him there loss i guess!
