Great camera work boys! One of the most anticipated fight nights and you can't get a camera on it from start to finish. I can't see a clear winner in this footage.....but my hat is off to Jamal. I want Bollig next time to take care of him.

Mayers lands nothing and flops to the ice. How does Mayers get the win?

Tough fight. Torres didn't really get as many punches as would have expected.

Giving this one to Mayers for policing his team and sticking up for Hossa. This is the only sport in the world where it's honorable to stick up for your team with your fists, even a year later. Hockey players have a long memory and don't forgive.

Thank god for the NHL.

Solid draw and a prety good scrap. Both fighters missed and connected about the same and both seemed to "pull each other to the ice".

On a side note, I don't think this qualifies as "answering the bell" for Torres. Those that remember the blindside hit will also remember that Bollig tried to make him answer the bell and Torres either turtled, of felt his menses running down his leg and had to asjust his tampon--I couldn't tell for sure from the camera angle. Cherry-picking who you face for taking liberties on another team's players does not qualify as answering the bell.

Why have the comments viewer been down for the past couple days? I'm anxious to see all the Hawks-haters opinions on this scrap.

The only credit Torres deserves is for answering the bell on this. Before and after that he's still a cheap POS. He has hockey skills that the Yotes could have used in the playoffs that may have taken them farther. Then again, I don't think they would have gotten past the Hawks last year if he hadn't taken out Hossa. And even though he had to answer for that Hossa hit last night, he hurt them because it was all Hawks after that scrap.

Kudos to Mayers. It was great to see him take the role and I'm sure there was a long line of Hawks wanting this scrap. But after Duncan stepped up on Tuesday when Mayers was leveled by Desjardins, it was only fitting that he step up here. The Hawks are a great team and are showing it in all facets.

I would have liked bollig to take care of him...i don't get it, the guy takes out one of your best player and you send the no3 ranked fighter on your team?!?!

Mayers was not expecting that!

Give edge to Jamal, easily a draw.....okay now the Hossa thing is done, enough already.

I dont see how all these guys think Nayers won that...Raffi clearly got more punches in, and dropped him.

Torres looking for a change and Mayers challenges him. I call it a draw. If Torres is fresh it may have been different.
