Torres knew it was coming...probably didnt know from whom. Both traded right hands. Mayers connected more often. Fight changed the momentum of the game.Win-Win for Chicago.

Jamal had the better shots. This fight was a long time coming. The NHL knew what they were doing by booking Torres's first game back from suspension against the Hawks. No delay! Get it done and get back to playing hockey.

I was expecting to see a Mayers win, but I saw a very close fight. I gave the win to Torres instead of a draw simply because it looks like he was into a shift and Mayers was fresh off of the bench. I know everyone hates Torres for his "questionable" hits, but the fight is the fight regardless of who is a more popular.

I think he got the win anyway, but considering the situation, Mayers could have taken 8 to the face and left out cold on the ice, but as long as he lands one square to the face of Torres like he did. Its a win for Mayers.

Was anyone within a 5000 mile radius surprised by this? Thug Torres needed a little reminder about why messing with Hoss was a bad idea. Both the fight and the game were vivid illustrations of the cream rising to the top, even if it took a couple of months (and a 100+ day lockout) for it to occur. Go Hawks!

Mayers has always been a wuss. Never liked him ever since his time with the Blues

Mayers knew that someone had to step up and drop the gloves with arguably the dirtiest player in the league after what he did to one of the most stand-up players in the league last year. Torres definitely got what was coming to him, and I don't think you've seen the last of the Hawks going after Raffi.

It was OK, for who the Hawks have on the roster, it got the job done.

More Torres blood on the ice would have made this fight better.

Horribly timed fight for Mayers, and not enough vengeance. Torres needs another go.
