Scott does the job he is hired for, intimidation. The Bruins lost .... Scott won. Thornton still regretting carrying his lunch money onto the ice. This fight brought the Sabre bench up, and the Bruin bench, well, swingg lowwww sweeet chaaaariot

Jack Edwards and homer Bruins fans would probably call this a clear win for Thornton

lost an edge? Scott beat Thornton down with 9 unanswered punches.

WIN SCOTT. I'd say TKO, actually. Thornton needed the linesman's help to get off the ice. Scott's second last punch knocks Thornton out of the line-up for two weeks. The guy is the most awkward looking fighter but packs a HUGE right and has a HUGE reach. That combination means danger to anyone but the league's very biggest and best fighters.

The penalties from this fight:

John Scott: 5 Minutes for Giving
Shawn Thornton: 5 Minutes for Recieving

You don't see Thornton on the short end of a fight as one-sided as this one was. Thornton was eager but Scott beat that and some other things out of him here.

Thornton is a gamer but no match for Scott. These guys are in different weight classes.

Scott with the easy win here, he used his size and reach to a T here

Scott did his job, so did Thornton. I think Thornton was just about knocked out after the first punch against the glass, but he refused to go down. I hope he'll be ok, and wish it was lucic who took that beating. Lucic wanted nothing to do with Scott that game.

Really have to laugh at the jokers who voted draw or win for Thorton. They should be removed from the site. Have to wonder why the big bad bruins let Scott destroy thorton and didn't even challenge Scott the remainder of the game, I know the answer Scared To Death. What a shameful game for the bruins at home. Last change by Ruff was classic, the cubs wanted no part of Scott.lol Thorton has no problem pounding people smaller than him, hope he's ok. Maybe he can sell cars or something in boston, he's done.
