For a Euro, Smid has always been a tough little scrapper, although he bit off a bit more then he could chew here with Nolan. Love the effort though.

Also, there is no way Smid deserved an instigator here. Commentator is making **** up about some "new instigator rules."

Good job by Smid, Czech who's not fighter, stepped up to the plate for a teammate. He'll wear that badge as long as he's with the team.
