I think it's safe to say there will be a rematch in the final matchup between the two teams. Unfortunately for Boyle, he didn't shoot the puck into the legs of say Tomas Kaberle. Don't poke the bear Brian.

Pretty close fight, just traded blows back and forth.

Darth Quader with the easy W. He still doesnt look like he has recovered from the concussion and blood clots. He got beat down pretty badly by a Providence Bruin in their exhibition game last week.

Boyle's just not a fighter in any sense of the word, and I think McQuaid could have picked a better opponent for his first go-round of the year. Don't get me wrong, I don't think he cherry-picks, but this one was a waste of time.

Dark side Quaid all the way.

Brian Boyle is worse at fighting than he is at hockey, and he is really bad at hockey....

McQuaid with a win over a non-fighter in Boyle. Coming from a college background it seems Boyle just never "got" fighting, at least he's protecting himself better. Haha. Dumb selfish move by McQuaid. Picking up an extra two because you are upset you got hit with a shot at the whistle is not acceptable. Standing up for a team mate WOULD make the extra penalty okay. Anyhow, McQuaid didn't disgrace himself by losing to Boyle and Boyle continues to show he won't run even though he has no idea whatsoever of how to fight. I like McQuade but he has to be smarter.

Where was Hal Gill to make this an all-colleagiate, slow mo, air shots specials ??? Ha Ha.

Someone said Wolfey got beatdown in practise by Robbins !? That was nothing, although he looked silly when he slipped.

I agree that McQuaid is underrated as a fighter, but can handle himself very well in the midst of Lucic and Thornton...easy win here for McQuaid

Boyle is just too slow...can't fight...takes way too long to deliver a punch.
Mcquaid wins...tough kid.

Nice to hear another good fight call in a Boston Game.
Obviously that means not having to listen to Edwards slobbering on himself and his leg is tingling.

Boyle might find it works better if you drop *both* gloves.
