why didnt the rangers play john scott?they trade for the toughest guy in the league and instead put this stiff rupp on the ice.confused?

Pretty much what I expected. Sure Rupp has a good bout here and there but hes not THAT an accomplished fighter. His size and reach help him out in a good amount of bouts but here he runs into a guy of similar stature but many more scraps under his belt and heavier puncher for sure. Would have prefered to see Big John Studd dressed and drop em with Shelly but oh well.And I wish there was a way to see Big Mac in the Pens lineup for the Flyer showdown on Saturday...d*mnit anyhow!

TKO for the old man! Glad to see Rupp get his head pounded after his no class comment about Shelley earlier in the season and his no respect salute after scoring a goal during the Winter Classic. The guy's a punk, and got it handed to him.

In what was otherwise a completely miserable season series vs the Rangers, this might be the one bright spot all year. Karma's a bitch. So is Rupp. Way to go Shelley!
