Is it me or are these guys today afraid to stand back and throw them ?

And that, ladies and gentlelmen...
is how NOT to have a hockey fight,
as elegantly demonstrated
by two, awkwardly named, players.

W-Petrell but it begs the question--why is an all-star d-man wasting his time and risking injury to fight a journeyman Finn?

act tough before the faceoff and then hang on like a couple of lovers out for a stroll across the Golden Gate Bridge in San Fran

how did the announcers like that start out of Yandle?

Shout out to my fellow New Englander, but Petrell handled his bidness and Yandle.

They talked about it (possibly dancing, not fighting) before the faceoff... Apparently they didn't discuss who was going to lead...

win Lennart...he must have learned to fight as a kid with a name like that

Why bother Yandle. What a joke.

The fight equivalent of two teenagers up the back of the movies fondling eachother with lustful, yet clueless, intentions. Despite some early resistance from petrell with some 'I'm not that kind of girl' uppercuts he eventually gives into yandles awkward advances and spreads em like a date on prom night. Win petrell for paying attention in health class and taking control by 'riding cowgirl' on the final embrace/takedown.

Ps. What is with all tue nancys dropping em these last few days? Spare me...

Fans must be thinking "I went to a hockey game and dancing with the stars competition broke out!" Yaahhhh..... That was awkward and a waste of time. Every once in awhile a non-fighter suprises us (ex. Patrice Bergeron bruins in the playoffs) but this one was what was expected.

Yandle is a good defenseman but you can tell he doesn't fight much if at all. He has absolutely no idea what he is doing in this fight. Petrell is no better but at least he looked like he had a plan.

Petrell with win. Yandle is a non fighter and it shows.

unexpected fight between these 2...petrell was only guy whose uppercuts seemed to be connecting.yandle just held on for a dear life
not a bad fight card for an euro non-fighter this season
