not sure why Commodore would do that, unless he has a bonus in his contract based on the number of punches he takes without getting knocked out

Totally agree with Brickley. Commodore scored points with every tough guy in the league there. I can guarantee that no one is going to refuse Commodore in the future if he asks (plus they can probably kick his a**).

Commodore, despite his 2" height and 10 lb. weight advantages, as well as recently coming straight out of the NHL fighting Mecca of Motown, runs into the "Brick House" that is Thornton..... Thornton dominated this bout. Lightning dominated game. Thornton plays hard and competes every shift. The B's should be embarrassed by their play tonight! This years team is far from the Stanley Cup champs of last.
