BigBadBruin22: Its not end of story because it was a draw, it does not matter if Rosehill wanted out or not as he still continued to throw, its not like he turtled or something. I know you want the B's to win them all but sometimes they don't.

Rare to see a "draw" as a great bout but this was exaclty that, great!

Thornton was definitely fighting way more defense minded than usual, or else he would have smashed Rosehill like he has before. He leads the league in scraps, that's a lot of fights for one man in a season. He's got stitches from fighting twice last week. So glad the B's brought up Macdermid and he's brought a huge physical presence. Fights Rupp in his 1st or 2nd shift in the NHL! He hit everything in a Leaf sweater last night. A department the Bruins were lacking in! He goes hard to the front of the net. Hope he sticks around. Juliens crazy if he sends him back to Providence! Thought it was Mac fighting when the whistle blew. Thornton needs to let the stitches heal but he keeps goin!

Great fight. Looks as though Thornton didnt have the game face on early, like he wasnt expecting to go because of the stiches. But I agree with Colt45, gave the kid a shot, and it was a dandy. Even with the slow start, I think Thornton regained control and was starting to land pretty easy, definitly landed the best shot...enough in my book for a win....could argue draw.

Nice win for Rosehill. Nice to see him throwing punches instead of jabs!! Good scrap!!

This was a good one with Rosehill getting the slight edge. Thornton's punches were coming up a bit short while Rosehill's were landing.

Soild Draw......but Thornton had the better punches land. The blood on his face is from stiches from a few days ago....that's why he declined Mr. Scotts invitation to dance on Sunday.

I seriously couldn't give a **** what the haters say Shawn Thornton is hands down one of the toughest SOBs in the NHL period! Taking on a big tough bloke in rosehill with ur team up on the scoreboard and stitches in the head is nothing short of pure bravery. Everyone should be thankful that ST is out there putting on quality slugfests on regular occasions. He rarely has a boring fight which many other teams 'enforcers' could never claim. Edge ST and an 8. Well done to rosehill too he threw some BOMBS!

Rosehill slaped the juicehead around like a tether ball. What's left of Shawn "duh, i'm man" Thornton brain will make for a interesting postmortem examination in the not so distant future.
