Bickel should have gone with Lucic,
although he would have gotten killed...

and Campbell should have gone with Prust,
although he would have gotten killed.

But if Chara had gone with Scott...???
a linesman probably would've gotten killed.

As I read that back, I was just wondering...is ''gotten'' actually a word?

I thought Colin's kid was going to get killed by the size mismatch with Bickel but he hung--uh, hugged in there for the D.

Another mismatch, but no damage luckily for Campbell. Strange game with all the tough guys and funny matches.

Campbell's defensive approach kept him at a draw instead of knocked out

I give it to Bickel. On the telecast, they showed a replay after they came back from break, and Bickel landed a solid right. Based on that, I'm giving to him.

I don't understand this fight. Can't see a reason why either player would have gotten into it, unless it was because they felt left out. I agree with GreatMurray, Lucic-Bickel and Prust-Campbell would have been better matchups. I think I'd rather see hard-fought draws then beatings or boring draws. Campbell would have gotten thugged by Prust, and Bickel would have at least hung in there more than Prust could (based on size- I'm not knocking Prust, nor will I ever).

BIC-head attempts to take on a "sure win" and fails... At least Campbell doesn't cower, turtle, bite, or wait for (5) other Bruins to help him..

And yet the ever repetitive CustomBroke-back Mountain fails to recall how Vigneault and Luongo must of been on their knees in the league office just before the 01/07/12 game, as the Cansucks had (11) power plays and Lucic and Marchand were tossed... Guess Shanny may be a tranny, he's waitin for you in your tent.

Hard to give anyone an edge when no one landed solidly. Maybe Bickel had a couple more glancing blows but he never really connected. I'll call it a draw.

its ether Campbell won cause he got the hits in or its a draw, I'm going Campblle due to the fact he got 2 goood hits in to Bickels 1. Die hard Boston fan or not I thought Bickel would have dominated that. Glad to see Campbell hold his own.

what should have been a mismatch .became a draw .CAMPBELL should not have been able to hang in like he did .there are no moral victories .but if there was .CAMPBELL earned it .

Bickel, was David Krejci not available? You barely managed a W over the smaller Campbell. Also nice to see John Scott challenging Jordan Caron three times today. Caron of course has never been in a fight in his life, nor should he try to. I was embarrassed for Scott, who didn't seem have much to say when Chara skated over to him in the first period. Prust challenged Lucic, not the other way around. This wasn't Looch picking spots or any of that nonsense, he simply obliged Prust who I also like. Lastly, anyone on here questioning Shawn Thorton's toughness needs their head examined. Though not a big heavyweight, Thorton has taken on ALL comers for years.

Loving all the John Scott talk here. I'm a big Hawks fan and I saw John Scott fight obviously with the Hawks and with the Wild as well. He's not just a good fighter because of how big he is. He's pounded on Koci, Westgarth, Parros, Janssen, and others. Sure Chara also pounded away at Koci, and he fought Laraque and Brashear. But he really wanted nothing to do with those two. If Chara ever gets the juevos to drop the gloves with Scott he will regret it and the fight will be a mismatch. Also to anyone saying Looch or Thornton would give Big John Stud a run for his money is sorely mistaken. Scott would pound both of them. John Scott needs to fight Big Mac or Brian McGrattan to be the NHL heavy weight champion. (Although he already is IMO because so many tough guys don't want to fight him)

draw but slightest of edge to Bickel

Bickel was trying to make a fight of it, but Campbell was doing his usual spin-a-rama to avoid getting hit. Bickel with the win.
