Rupp.. Hows it feel to get your butt kicked by a rookie.
Who ever voted for Rupp needs to watch it again!!

The kid hung in there and did pretty well, but Rupp with the narrow win.

Great to see Macdermid get his 1st game in nhl! Contributing right away. Hope he sticks around. As for Chara not fighting Scott. Can't lose Captain for 5 mins or an injury to a guy who gets 4 shifts a game.

Rupp lands the better shots so I give him the slight edge.

Good show and willingness from MacDemid, but the win to the more experience Rupp!

Rupp just barely handles the first gamer and gets a slight edge. MacD tagged him with a right halfway thru that rocked rupper a little. Good showing from the rookie and a worthy addition to the merlot line.

Was that a puddle of pee underneath Thornton when Scott chatted to him?

Very surprised at the outcome of this fight... I thought Rupp narrowly beat a superb fighter when he took on Thorton, and he takes on a smaller guy who comes out of the "A" with no particular distinction as a brawler and gets beat!!! Good job by MacDermid

3" taller and 40lbs heavier yet Rupp cant do anything with this kid? After he took that right cross he decided it was time to bring the fight down on the ice.

@jeagle12212012 MacDermid dominates? What kind of a MacIdiot are you? Slight edge Rupp. No rosy colored Bruin glasses here. P.S.to all you Bruin idiots, why would Chara fight Scott ? Why would Lucic allow Rupp to take him off for five minutes? Maybe playing in Boston he inherited the I.Q. that most Bruin fans have, and is just plain stupid. I think your team is great and I like them, but Bruin fans are challenging Canuck fans as the biggest idiots in the league, Wont mention any names BigDumbBruin22. And should the greatest defenseman in NHL history (Chara) let a goon take him out ? Chara would only miss a shift or so, he does not play the whole five minutes. He just needs to get the courage to fight Scott,or to wrestle him to the ground, which is what he'll probably do. Can't spin it to whatever suits you douchebags, Scott hasn't fought anyone ,but Chara won't fight him and allow a goon to take him off. Talk about Chara's fight card, look at who he's fought over the last five years and show me all the high powered goal scorers he's allowed to take him to the box . Try to convince someone with an IQ as low as yours, maybe they'll believe the BS coming out of both sides of your mouth. P.S. I have no reason to be a B's hater, (some) B's fans on here are just pathetic morons.

The kid got Rupp with a couple good ones

Impressive first scrap for the Mac kid. This one was close but I gave Rupper the edge for the flurry of punches he threw during the start of the scrap.

Close bout for sure...draw.

I would like to give edge to the new kid just cause he is the new kid. Takes on Rupp and the take down but he came on too late. Draw.
