Give to Leblond, but by no means was this an embarrassment from EG.

EDDUBS, outside of that last shot, it was an even scrap against an established heavy. Cut the man some slack. He'll be up with the Stars next year unless he's traded because he's on a one-way contract. If they put him with Burish/Gadzic on the fourth line and bring Dillon up, the Stars will mirror more the physical team of the mid-late 90s.

Leblond wins this one. And he's a very good fighter so no shame for Godard here... Maybe this scrap was at the end of a long shift, I don't know? But over the last ten years Godard has been a beast and put some serious beat downs on some pretty mean and intimidating opponents. I just don't see that guy showing up anymore. There's nothing ferocious about him now. Something's not right. It's almost like he's not bothered and isn't even making an effort to look like he's up for the fight. That isn't the way for any great enforcer to bow out...

Godard was embarrassing....what has happened to him?
