Edge to Staubitz who bloodies Labrie's face and gets the better throws in after they got unwrapped.

Labrie should have continued to hide behind the helmet. He thought he saw an opening near the end and went for it, only to receive another 3 shots to the head. Labrie fights like someone with a visor...maybe he doesn't wear one because his nose will not allow it. Not to worry though, a few more fights like this one and that nose will be nice and flat...and crooked.

Strange to see a montreal player standing and fighting like a man. Maybe one day PK will try this.

This may be the first Canadiens fight win in three years!

Staubitz is so much tougher when he uses his left. Won the fight with it.

I love the class of Brad Staubitz, he has to pull Pierre-Cedric Labrie's hair to get a small edge. One other thing, how did Staubitz not get an instigation and another penalty for the hair pulling? Same refs but different penalties depending on who started the fight.

Pretty decent fight between a couple of heavyweights. Neither guy really outfought the other. Both landed some good shots, and a lot of stuff off the shoulder pads. They did their jobs. Bravo.

Great job Staubitz about time someone started to fight in Montreal.

Good to see Stauby back...and with a Team that so desparately needs him.
Not only will the Canadians probably finish last in their conference, they may go down as the worst bunch of fighters in hockey history. What an embarassment for guys like Robinson, Kordic (rip),Tremblay, Nilan, Jon Ferguson and Hab fans all over to have to watch this team get pounded night after night!!
Stauby gets the win and looked stronger against a bigger man. Hope he can infuse some pride in these guys.

Was unpleasantly surprised to see this boring fight, after seeing it rated in the 6's. And furthermore, expecting to see a domination, also not so. I call it a draw...the blood was from a cat-scratch fingernail. Habs fans stuffing the ballot-box. Staubitz maybe thorntons new dance partner, but probably more like thorties new speedbag.
