Inspired by that great looking, old Flames jersey...
Berube, I mean, Hunter, I mean...Jackman...
pounds Gill, I mean, Allen, I mean...Alberts, to the ice.

Remembering that he was once an Islander Jackman would make a good Boston Bruin or a Flyer. Apparently this was payback to Alberts for a first period boarding call.

I guess Alberts can say "I took my beating like a man" -- which is more than most of his teammates can say.

At least Alberts showed up and answered,
Not even close...his impersonation of a poor man's 'Mike Brown' didn't go over very well.
Props to Jackman for enforcing.

Jackman hammers Andrea... Andrea's punches are clearly short, regardless of the so called "bad camera angle." Jackman undoubtedly was cut by a classic Vancouver claw swipe (probably taught to the team by Wolverine while he was lumberjacking in the area), and not a punch..... Camera angle must have missed that part... And Casucks fans, please tell me you have more, please tell me you are not hanging your feminist regime's losses on camera angles.... I have a box of tissues for you and your Cup chances also...

Andrew, we all appreciate you answering. But you suck at fighting.

I'll say it again for the couple of fine gentlemen that just didn't get it. Duco isn't going to help Vancouver with his size. He can hang with a few smallish fighters, but zero heavies, and Alberts is like Gill. They are jokes! Tons of size and weight, but ZERO toughness! Hated them when they were on the Bruins. Vancouver is effed in the toughness department, which is why they bite and claw these days.

As for PutOutYourLights, you seem to be seriously digging here to find something to bitch about...ie: "lol" Really dude? That's the best you could do? LOL Perhaps a "hahaha" would have been better. I'm not sure of your age, but 14 went by about two decades ago for me. Sorry to bust your bubble douche, but Alberts is as tough as you are clever. Lastly, the IQ comment was and is directed at about 5-10 retard burnouts that come in here and post nonsense. Even if I don't care for your team or fighter, I'll call it like it is and respect your opinion, but weirdos like custombreaks and boldbilly, and a few others, just need to get a clue. That is all. Enjoy the fights. Black n Gold all day!

Pretty good showing by Jackman here as he gets the edge in a pretty decent kerfuffle

Jackman takes this one with ease.

Alberts with a Thornton bouncing boxing stance to start, but that's as far it goes in that comparison. As for the fight, I saw it a little closer than most of the commenting indicates. It was one of the better showings for Alberts, but not quite good enough to win.

Both guys were swinging early but Jackman looked to be landing a bit better and then he landed a lot better at the end. Jackman gets a pretty decisive win here.

Win Jack -man. His fights are usually hugfests but he went out and did his job tonight!
as for the hit....Alberts might have been able to avoid it but not sure on that. The kid fell on his way in for the hit. But you don't run a guy when he's engaged. Some D think they own the the boards so "keep your head up"!
