When trying to review a hockey fight(s)...
there's nothing quite as annoying,
as a director who can't make up his mind.

It's 2012, Hitchcock... would it kill you to go split screen?

From what I could tell ...
Prust out-smarts Boulton,
but, overall, due to size and position...
Boulton out-punches Prust.

Mad props to Boulton,
for letting Prust back up,unscathed,
... after he ''slipped''.

DeBoer wasn't fooling around skating those two guys to open the game and Torts responded in kind. Looks like Boults caught Prust with a good one though the camera was focused on Janssen-Rupp.

Between the second and third periods on the Rangers radio broadcast Dave Maloney interviewed retired linesman Kevin Collins, who probably broke up more fights before they started than any other NHL linesman in history.

Collins told the story how as a player for the Johnstown Jets he got knocked out by Nick Fotiu of Cape Cod. That convinced Collins to purse a career as a linesman.

Hard to judge either fight as we missed half of each fight. Regardless, this one wasn't a great tilt from what I saw.

first time this year voting against Prusty -- giving it to Boulton

You just have to love the simultaneous dropping of the gloves on opposite sides of ice... Definitely a kodak moment...

Gotta go with draws for both. Hard to judge when you only see about half of each fight.

win Boulton...the days of the Wild West have been surpassed by The Beasts of the East...the Big Bad Bruins,Rangers,Phillie,NJ and the Jets...Out of the top 10 the East with 213 FMs and West 123 FMs...nice

Giving this to Boulton, he looked like he bloodied Prust's mouth with those jersey jabs.

"Watch where you're driving, man! Don't mess with the Devils, buddy. We're number one, we beat anybody!"

"We're the Devils!"

"The DEVILS!!!!"

Now that's the way to start a game. Lot of punches thrown but not a lot landed. Slight edge to Boulton.

Good scrap, would have prefered to see Prust and Clarkson go at it tho, would've been a more even size match
