Borque showed up, wold have liked a lid toss by Rene, he had plenty of time to do it, but still he answered the bell. He's alot stronger and tougher thatn Hendricks realized. 6

As a Caps fan I like to see Hendricks go at him. However, the fight was a dud and Hendricks did not prove a point. If that is all the consequence that is going to happen on the ice to losing your star player, it's not much of a deterance.

Bourque was matched up well in size with Hendricks and answered the bell. Some of the idiots on here don't give Rene enough credit for this one and offered to take the lid off. Erskine would have received the same treatment from the under rated native that throws them well when he has to. Bourque wins by connecting with most of his rights!

Bourque offered to toss his helmet but wasn't obliged by Hendricks so he left it on. i say fair play and an easy win.

Sad that Erskine was in the lineup (after having been a healthy scratch for several games preceding) and that Hendy had to take Borque on. Didn't seem as it was happening that they were in the same weight class, but they are. Big John was almost certainly activated specifically to wail on Bourque, but ultimately didn't because Caps jumped out ahead early and Dale Hunter didn't want to spit into the wind this night with an instigation atop a major. Hendricks is a stand-up guy and a big fav for it but was no match for Bourque.

Hnedricks gets credit for standing up for his team mate. AFter that, it was down hill for the Caps forward.

Nice to see one of the Habs finally winning a fight - It's been a long, long time!! That was the only good part of this hockey game. Absolute crap with this hockey team and time to rebuild.

Bourque manhandles Hendricks, the more experienced fighter, in a sad attempt of retaliation. Wouldn't mind seeing a few more scraps from Bourque

Bourque is a typical punk that throws elbows and fights with a visor.... anybody that throws down with a visor on is automatically a loser no matter how bad he beats the other guy..... what a wuss....

Borque answers for his actions and drops the gloves...but it looks like Ovie should have fought him, as Hendricks brought nothing to the table (at least Ovie is strong as an ox).

This is about the only good thing I've seen Rene Borque do since donning the Canadiens jersey. This guy is useless. His gritty "Physical presence" has been non-existant since this fight here. Good win for Borque, big loss for the Habs. With Cammy heading to Calgary, the Canadiens better make a damn good choice with that second round pick they got, because Borque would have a hard time making the Hamilton Bulldogs line-up the way he has played lately.

Hendricks got stunned after the first shot and hung on after that. Win RB

I give it a seven mainly on the heart of Hendricks going after the bigger guy to stick up for a teamate. Bourque was just a bit more than he could handle, however. I haven't seen the rest of the fights from this game yet...
