You should have waited and tried Downey or Dorsett (maybe not Dorsett).
You picked on the toughest light heavy, full time player/fighter in the NHL. You would have thought that Labby would know better. He fought Engelland 2 years ago in the AHL with exactly the same result.
The only thing that saved Lucky Pierre is his lengthy fighting experience in the little leagues. He is obviously just a brawler...but in this go he figured out early that he need to lock up Engelland's hands to avoid a KO...mission accomplished.
But a 2 point round for Engelland and no real credit for Labrie...go back to the minors. Tampa Bay must find some serious toughness and a goalie.
But I do give Lecavalier points for not allowing Malkin to get away with his bullchit.
