I post a lot saying the clean hits dont need to result in a fight, this hit however DID need a fight.

On a side note, I dont like to see people hurt but I am so use to see SJ players take cheap shots that I cant feel bad for seeing one of their players going down to a questionable hit.

idk what happened with Dane Byers...i don't remember him being so like overly aggressive and gritty. even a couple years ago

byers was only guy throwing.im giving him the edge but im also ok with draw coz those punches were weak

Byers took the head shot and then immediately defended in the fight with the clutch and hang on defense. He was happy to blind side DesJardin but wanted no part of a real fight with Brad Winchester

Hopefully Byers will be sent back to the minors AFTER HE SERVES A FIVE GAMES SUSPENSION for a flat out dirty play!

This is the other side of the BS instigator rule. Winchester should not have gotten anything other than the coincidental fighting penalty. COME ON SHANNY! GET IT RIGHT!!!
It is a shame he didn't put a couple of bombs in Byer's mush.
