Note to Gill, Allen, Mitchell,
and that Ranger wooly mammoth
whose name escapes me at the moment, etc...

...this is how you use your size, to your advantage.

Gained respect for Martin, despite the loss.

Narrowest of wins for Finley, listed in the NY Times at 6'8" 260 lbs.

Finley wins, but not by as big a margin as you would expect. Finley was a Washington Caps early round draft pick (1st or second round) draft pick that never made it out of the ECHL and now he is playing for Buffalo??

Despite a Win for Finley due to his size, I really didn't see above fighting skills or technique for him.
Martin did ok as well to stay in there...

looked like Andre the Giant vs Johnny Rodz....except Rodz put up a great fight

Sabres fan: I give it to Finley by a margin. From what I'e seen of it, Finly 's style is not flashy at all, but focuses on using his size, strength, and reach to pound opponents into the ice. Martin did pretty well against a guy that is bigger than... 99% of the human race. Not an exciting fight, but the win seemed to spark the Sabres.

Finley looks like he might be a welcome addition to the NHL and something Buffalo desperately needs. A lot of big haymakers mostly by Finley.

almost gave this fight a draw, but then i remembered i hate matt martin for that attempted sucker punch on max talbot so i had to be a little biased and chose finley

Win Finley. Give props to Martin though. Decent scrap.

Looks like finley pulled martins hair at the 30 second mark.

Was at this game and Finley won the fight for sure. I do believe he thought it would be easier, but Martin gave him a bit of a fight for giving up at lot of reach and wieght. Kudos to Martin.

Thats a fight, Finley gains nothing here , loses the buffalo momentum. Martin cudo's, takes on the biggest on the ice 6 ft 8 in and stands right in there. Finley did zero damage to Martin, tough team kid at 22 he is a big part of nyi.

both gamers tho...but martin no fear..love it

Was that a child abuse joke at 0:14?

Good fight. Finley's call up and scrap should have all of John Scott's girlfriends wetting their panties on here. Oh, size, oh, oh, oh, size!

Finley wins on points, but had a major size advantage. I would like to see him take a someone him own size. Cudo's to Martin for taking on Finley.
