Simmonds smoked Brewer. Brewer was playing the tough guy throwing his big body around and cross checking Harry Z when he was down in the goal crease. Simmonds can hang with anyone in his weight class (185?). Some idiot commented that he is a "goon" dont forget he has nine goals on the season playing mostly on the third line. I feel the second coming of Rick Tocchet here ... finally. This kid is def. a gamer.

Simmonds never in trouble here. Another "BIG FOR NOTHING " 1st round Islander draft choice here in Brewer. I think he was a Milbury pick back in the day..... And we all know what a genius Milbury is & STILL IS !!!!!!!

Real easy win for Simmonds....

This was a real hockey fight, and Wayne Simmonds completely dominated Brewer. This great bout ended witha blow, being a nasty uppercut, KOing Brewer and requiring the Lightning's trainer to come out and tend to him. Brewer was also cut during the bout by the hand of Simmonds.

Hit or fight or do something. Good game for Simmonds.

Who were the announcers for this fight? Did I actually hear one of them say that "both fighters landed some pretty good punches" and that Simmonds "struggled away" after the fight? The only thing that kept this from being a KO, rather than a TKO, for Simmonds is that Brewer was able to somehow stand up after Simmonds decked him. Complete and total win for Simmonds.
