Draw ............Bieksa cought Kostopoulos early but Kostopoulos got 1 in at the end. Both good punches.

Nothing happened. They both might have landed 1 punch...then the take down.

The Midlands start after XMAS...if you want to wrestle go there.

My first stab at this apparently didn't go through--my apologies if a double post materializes from the interweb ozone.

Bitchka improves on his last showing by not getting his monobrow face kicked in, but this a draw and a pretty bad one at that. The Flames must still be thanking Kebbie for inspiring them to a great start--7uongo had to hold the nucks in for the first 10 minutes. You read that right, folks--Luigi played well (well, until the joke of a winning goal and he still got outplayed by a kid from Abby making 8 per cent of what he does, but what the hey).

dbhof--I was actually at the game (my sister hosted Xmas this year and scored some decent tickets). This being Vancouver and Rogers Arena and all, I made sure to put on my Kevlar butt armor and thoroughly enjoyed watching the Flames defeat the nucks by using the Bruins strategy (with a much lower talent base, to be sure--simply make the sisters and their tops face physical pain to get the puck and good ice position and they fold like tents.

Sonsofjaymiller--you really think Kebbie will even dress the next time the Bruins thrash the Nucks? Or if he does, that he'll go anywhere near a Bruin who's ever gotten a fighting major?

Given the amount of time you have to spend in your parent's basement with their old computer, you'd be a dangerous opponent if you had two brain cells to rub together. In no way did I compare the Flames to the Bruins in talent level. Give your head a shake. No, the other one.
FYI, Kevlar butt armor is issued to all heterosexual passengers on incoming flights to Vancouver. Interestingly, Burrows turned it down when he first came to town, but I digress.
------------
dbhof----for sure, the Flames looked like crap against the Bs in the 9-0 rout. But why can't I mention the Flames and Bruins in the same post--you mention the Capukes and Bruins in the same post all the time and one is a tough team that plays with integrity, while the other plays its home games at Rogers Arena.
The mental image of you choking your chicken (not Burrows or Bieksa, the other one) over hockey fight sites is too gross to contemplate. The horror!!
----
dbhof---you said it one paragraph above your denial. Alzheimer's is clearly setting in for you and that's sad, even for a goof like you.
While the Flames did look horrible against the Bruins that night, you need to get your "brain" around the fact that far from being talented Stanley Cup finalists, your team is a bunch of whining, diving, biting pansies and the title of most despised/pitied team in the league rightly belongs there. Nothing has changed from the massacres of last spring and you know it.

Bieska did not deserve a rematch...Kostoupolis must have been in the Christmas spirit and decided not to send the Cluck to the hospital again.
