I think Lucic caught a lot of slack a few years ago when he didnt fight Laraque when everybody else wanted him to. He takes on a pretty tough guy here and gets the better of him.

One thing to consider, it was Carkners first fight this year after coming back from an injury. . .

Have to give it to C0ckner - as soon as Lucy took a few at the end he went for the death grip - the same grip he applies to the shower bar when he is getting it from behind.

Doing so well against a good heavyweight like Carkner here, it would have been glorious if Milan had been able to get through the zebras Burrows hid behind in the finals last season and beaten his ***** head into pulp.

I'm giving Lucic the win in this one. He landed some serious shots and I'm not sure if that one right by Lucic that either rocked Carkner or threw him off balance but Lucic got the better of the exchange. Carkner tried coming back but may have seen him come up short with his punches. I loved how Lucic was just rapid fire though. You don't have to be a fan to appreciate that from Lucic. This is the Lucic of old this is what most people like to see. Carkner with a serious egg over his left eye!

I don't want to hear oh but it is Carkner's first game back because no one defended Lucic when he lost to Boll.

I agree Sedin fan but Carkner's punches seem to come up short and Lucic landed some heavy shots one throwing Carkner off balance or stunning him but I think it was a win for Lucic who threw the much better punches here. Carkner didn't land much here. Maybe some helmet on two shots but Lucic got in a good 5-6 shots. Lucic landed a beauty of an upper cut. The only real punch I seen from Carkner was when Lucic was adjusting his helmet and let go of his grip.

I think Lucic surprised Carkner. Good fight. Draw. Nobody can accuse Lucic of picking his spots.
