I Think for the first 10 Seconds, Bourdon had Ellis, But the last 10 i have to give to Ellis.

Ellis was trying to defend his team mate.
Bourdon got some good hits on Ellis at the start of the fight.
Ellis got some good hits at the end of the fight

I give Ellis the win just for the mere fact that he is one of the few Sabres that want to come to the aid of their teammate

Ellis tried to end it by attempting to throw Bourdon to the ice.

Fight goes to Ellis. He started a fight he probably knew he couldn't win defending a teammate. Takes more guts than running a midget into the boards.

I like the Sabres player sticking up for his boy, but it sure seemed to me while watching it live that Gerbe turned his back after seeing him coming.

Gerbe didn't turn he was already facing the boards to play the puck when the pass came. it isn't like he was facing the other way. he had to face the boards to play the puck and expected bourdon to not run him from behind because of the way the pass came in. play hockey people. sabrehater, get out of your moms basement

Hillarious to me that all of a sudden any sabre will drop for any reason...this was Gerbe's fault as has been happening more and more in the NHL...guys see the hit coming and turn to put their back toward the hitter. I guess they hope this will keep themselves from getting hit or maybe are trying for the penalty, but it's BS. I say if a guy turns his back toward you to face the boards, hit him HARDER! Easy win for Bourdon, stupid for Ellis "sticking up" for his teammate who made a moronic move to put himself in harms way.
