Matt Stajan vs Maxim Lapierre

Bruiser Stajan, for what he is paid and for what he has contributed to the Flames in what most would regard as the worst trade in NHL history should have launched Maxi-Pad into the upper deck.

My Canucks reach new lows, we can't even handle that big goon Matt Stajan.

Maxi has no redeeming qualities and no honor. Stajan with the win for at least throwing a punch or 3

I know a lot of folks are going to get on Lapierre's case but Stajan was the aggressor here.
Lapierre broke out of Stajan's hold twice and didn't really throw any punches. He either really doesn't know how to fight or chose to let the non-fighter off easy.
This time around, I think the latter.

Lapierre usually gives a good show, but this was a hug fest. Lapierre tried not to fight Stajan. Rome would have given a better show

Typical of Canucks, and Lapierre. Surprised Bieksa didn't spot pick a non-fighter after that one like usual.
