Prust is a beast, we love him in NY

Had the size and reach advantage? Reach advantage maybe, but you realize that Simmonds is 180 pounds soaking wet right. They have him listed on here as 160 but he is a little more than that.

Win Prust. Simmonds under estimated his opponent and paid for it. Prust is a smart fighter and reminds me of a smaller version of Darren Langdon.

Prust much more experienced of the 2, simmonds lucky he had 3 inches on prust otherwise he would have taken more shots, but props to him for dropping his mits even though i am sure he knew who and what he was up against.

I would actually like to hear some reasonable rationale from someone who voted for Simmonds. Did he hurt Prust's fist?

It was even for the first 2/3 of the fight but Prust started connecting to the face and jaw for the last 1/3 and comes out the clear winner. Simmonds can take a punch and keep on fighting though.

Very impressive how Prust adjusted to Simmonds long reach.

Prust is a gem and the Rangers are lucky to have gotten him. He can play, he can fight, an all around good player and I wish the Rangers had 5 more like him, Dubinsky and Callahan. As for the fight, the pesty Simmonds was game but got hit much harder. Edge Prust.

Prust all day. Simmons bit off a bit more than he can chew. He may be bigger but Prust shows what determination and skill can do.

Looked like Prust landed a few more and a few better. Bonus points for leveling his own guy to get to the fight.

Prust easily lands the hardest shots, all the while making Simmonds look like novice fighter here. And that was his second fight of the night...great stamina. Win Prust, no question.

With the long reach Simmonds has he should have been able to control the fight, yet again Prust wins. Prust won two fights within the first period. Middleweight continder(Prust) taking on a Heavyweight(Simmonds) should be a easy win for Simmonds, but Prust was throwing hay makers and uppercuts and Simmons had a powder puff extention on his hand.
Good fight Prust a solid 6
