Mad props for Nokelainen. I recommend dropping the gloves next time, but nice effort and mad respect for getting after it.

Not only do the stRangers lead the league in fights, they lead the league on fighting guys who don't fight. Will "tough" guys like Deveaux and Avery ever fight someone who actually has been in a fight before? On the rare occasion that they do find themselves in that unfortunate situation they do the hug and hold or "slip" so that the fight ends before they can get pummeled. Wussiies.

Deveaux with a clear win. I thought the hit was clean, but understand the penalty. Noke went after Deveaux, not the other way around, and the Rangers were being murdered on the scoreboard, frustration is high, so give it a rest. And give the "doesn't fight fighters" thing a rest too, he recently fought Parros and did just fine in a loss. Big deal it was a fight, nobody died.

This play is the exact reason why the Habs need a tough guy! No way should a guy like Nokelainen need to stand up for himself after a hit like this!

Deveaux should have been suspended for this hit, where was Shanny on this one. Head first into the boards. I am not impressed with Deveaux win in this fight considering he concussed his opponent with the board before the fight started.

Deveaux takes a page out of Sean Avery's new book "How to be a super-douche". Noki tries to stand up for himself, which ends up pretty much how you would expect it to. To be fair to Deveaux...not that he deserves it, he didn't request the fight with Noki, he just wanted to blind-side him and skate away.

Deveaux must have gone to the Kevin Bieksa school of hockey fighting. He looks like John Belushi. Andre Deveaux you have no grade point average.

As a Habs fan I cant wait for Martin to be fired so this team can add a little muscle. Even with that said Andre Deveaux is nothing more then a gutless coward...it is pretty easy to win a fight when you pick on a lady bing candidate that wont throw a punch!

Hit wasn't as bad as it looked, Nokelainen was moving forward and almost had the puck. Not much Deveaux could do but continue the assault as Nokelainen decided to go after him; totally one sided. Deveaux and a 6 for at least 3 real clean shots.

K022, the guy has little more than cup of coffee in the NHL, and I know you can search when he was up at the NHL level for a decent amount of time, he had bouts with Thornton, Barch (2), Cote, Jackman and one this year vs Parros. Don't embarrass yourself.
