Konopka got a good start to the fight, but I thought that Thorton came back stronger at the end. I give it to Thornton narrowly, because he seemed to be gaining control towards the finish.

I agree, I think Thorton is a bit rusty, but wins in close fight.

And if you thought Konopka won, you're a Sens fan...Thornton schooled him. I'll give Konopka this much, there's not too many he won't fight, he just doesn't win a lot...

Draw all the way. Thornton in his weight class here. Not a great fighter but has had his moments over the years. Def a middleweight though especially these days.

Thornton is an undersized heavyweight who never turns down a match. As a Bruins fan Im glad to have him, even liked him when he was on the Ducks.
