Not many punches landed but Clowe manhandled Prust throughout the fight. Prust seemed to be hanging on waiting for the linesmen to save him at the end.

Unexpected snooze of a fight, considering the two combatants.

4 and a draw.

As a Rangers fan, I must agree that Joe Micheletti's love affair with Brandon Prust every time he drops the gloves has become quite tiresome.

Neither connected good punches and nobody really clearly controlled the fight. Each had their ever slight moments ut no clear winner.

Average fight, no serious blows landed. Slight edge, Clowe

How about a pair of roughing minors in this one? Draw, unless I fell asleep before something exciting happened.

Prusty was skilled enough to avoid some bad intentioned shots from Clowe, but the SIZE ADVANTAGE crud is just an excuse. Clowe dominated this tilt. Prusty just hung on for dear life.

I'm really happy Prust didn't get hurt here. I like when Prust fights up a weight class, but unlike some of the other heavies, Prust cannot rely on getting Clowe off balance (so as to limit power).

Prust fights everybody despite his light heavyweight physique. You really have to admire the guy. The Rangers haven't had a true heavyweight who stayed more than a season or two since Colton Orr. Typical Rangers.

Prust hung in there, but CLEARLY Clowe with the win.

Yawner. Not even one good shot either way. As big as Clowe is, he should be able to man-handle Prust. That would be an indication of how good Prust is or how lame Clowe is. Either way, it was a draw.

Staceyb, the Rangers made the playoffs last year as the 8 seed and played the Caps well. If Lundqvist got any help they could have beaten them.

And their announcers could be worst. Ever listened to the Bruins announcers? The worst (and most homer) have to be the Sabres announcers though.

You have to give Prust credit. He goes out there and gives it his all. Whether it is on the PK, forechecking, blocking shots, or fighting. He steps up and does what he needs to do.

Prust made it a match. 9 out of 10 times Clowe woud probably demolish him.

it was more dancing than fighting
